I had this when I was in Mexico. It was free at a club I was at. That right there should say something (I think they were trying to give it away). Nothing really good to say about this. It was like a nasty Natural Ice.

My dad came to visit and left some of the shit in my fridge, so I figured I’d give it a rate - reeks and adjuncts (sweet corn) and boiled vegetables - flavor of sweet creamed corn, cabbage, postage stamp glue, lightly peppery hops - pretty nasty, really.

This was meant to stay in the bottle - it’s not very attractive. Plenty of corn, not very tasty. It’s trying to be the Mexican PBR.

330 ml bottle. BB 05/11/13. At the Mexican restaurant. Clear pale golden colour with a tiny white head. The aroma is very weak. Mild sweetness. The flavour is mild soggy malty and slightly sweet. Bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tastes just like PBR, except maybe a few more hops. The aroma smells of macrobrew and the bottle is nothing that stands out. This came in one of those special three packs of Mexican beer samplers. Says, "Imported Beer" on the bottle, so was produced for export.

Good ol tecate. Good cheap Mexican beer. I like it more than some others in the same vein ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. 100 yen at Yamaya. 4.5% a crystal clear straw colored lager. No head. Mild hay aroma. The taste is a decent lager with no real flavor but a bit of sweetness & a clean dry mildly hop bitter finish. Actually, as time went on it got to be a bit too sweet especially as it isn’t fruity or anything. Ok if you want a lager on a hot day.

Another bud light pour. Smells similar too... Corn, adjuncts. Yellow fizzy water. Taste is... Water. Fizzy corn water. Jesus.

24 fl oz big can poured into a pint glass. Served cold. Aroma: Malty. Cereals. Slight hops. Not that bad. Appearance: Absolutely clear yellow. Sudsy, white head fizzes down to nothing quickly. Taste: Lagery. Nothing fancy going on here. More hop bitterness than what I was expecting (which was none), but it’s still pretty weaksauce. Doesn’t taste bad. Nothing unique about it though. Palate: Light-medium body. Not watery. Pretty crisp and clean. Overall: Decent beer. Probably couldn’t tell it apart from a lot of what’s out there, but it’s not too bad.

Certainly better than a lot of other mass produced pale lagers out there, this is drinkable.
