330cl bottle from Alko Helsinki. Color something between amber and copper. Minimal head. Both aroma and taste are a bit dull. Malts with English style hoppiness. Hints of floral notes and citrus are hardly recognizable. Palate and mouthfeel are definitely the best qualities: smooth lingering hoppiness. Guess I’m not a Bitter kind of guy... :)

Rating #1341 - 02.12.2014. 355ml Bottle #2 from the 2014 Craft BeerAdvent Calendar, 4.7%. My first ever beer from Finland. Clear amber pour with a foamy tan head with decent retention. Aroma is toast, caramel. grass. Mild carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Light bodied. Taste is heavy on roast malts, mild caramel sweetness. Finish is dry, but well balanced. A good bitter.

Pours pale golden with a little white head. The aroma displays English style hoppiness with a pale malty background. Taste is malty and lightly fruity; citrusy and floral notes combine with bisquity and grainy notes. Light bitter from start to finish. The palate is light and smooth, very drinkable. Light, easy bitter - not strong enough for an ESB.

Bottle at restaurant Kuu. It pours clear pale amber with a Medium white head. The nose is soft, bitter-sweet, caramel, brown bread, cereal and dried fruits. The taste is smooth, bitter, toasty, cereal, brown bread, weak lemon, light caramel and leather with a short, dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not a whole lot to it, but it’s well-rounded and easy-drinking.
