Kaatuu lasiin mustana, niukalla katoavalla vaahdolla. Haju on savuinen, paahteinen, hieman suklainen ja yrttinen. Maku on savuinen, lakritsinen, yrttinen, makeahko hieman tuhkainen ja paahteinen. Suutuntuma on katkera, jopa kirpeä. Kokonaisuutena oikein mukava stout. Jos savuisuuden saisi pois, niin olisi vielä parempi.

Aroma has spices, salty licorice, suryp. Sweet, medium strong nice aroma. Bit dark fruits also. Black, nice beige head is thin and short. Good appearance anyway. Taste is more roasted than aroma, dark french roast coffee, sweetness is underneath. Soft, almost velvet feel, dry and roasted bit bitter, medium body. Bit too roasted for my liking but ok.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Almost black. Roast, ash and coffee in the aroma. Full bodied. Sweet chocolate flavor with notes of ash and coffee. Pleasant sweet stout.

Medium brown head. Nearly opaque black body goes translucent deep dark red at edges. Roasty chocolatey aroma with wild berry notes. Dry-sweet wild berry taste with roasty earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry chocolate and earth aftertaste with roasty mealy notes. Decent, but not very good. (0.33l bottle at Kamppi brewpub, Helsinki.)

[ Trade by oh6gdx ]. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration, roasted, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to fizzy. [20120421]

330 ml bottle. Pours opaque colour with minimal vanishing beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, roasty and caramel malt, oat, dark fruits, coffee and also some bisquit kind of aroma. Delicious flavour of roasty and caramel malt, coffee and chocolate. Medium carbonation. Full bodied and smooth oily mouthfeel. Long lasting chocolate finish. Great quality from Lahti. A wonderful stout.

bottle at home ... deep black ... thin tan lacing ... soft ... blackvurrant malt nose ... fizzy front ...soft roast malt ... light toffee and chocolate .... bit thin in body ... nice but no real body and substance

Roasted smell. Black and oily, with dark brown small head. Sweet with hints of tar and licorice. A bit earthy in the end. Flat carbon, viscous.

Bottle, many thanks to rosenbergh. Almost black color with small beige head. Aroma of dark fruit syrup, roasted malt, light bitterness in background. Taste, roasted malt, dark fruits, hints of coffee and milk chocolate. Light bitterness in fruity sweet finish. Good.

330 ml bottle. Black color, wispy tan head. Raisin aroma with some metallic notes. Dry flavor with chocolaty notes -- reminiscent of milk stout. Dry finish with some coffee. Full body, low carbonation. It’s ok.
