3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 75cl. A reddish dark brown beer, clear looking and with a small, beige head on top. Lightly peaty nose, roasted, chocolatey and lightly coffee-ish. Some faint bitterness in the flavor, but it’s mostly roasted and malt driven. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate notes and some prune hints. Full-bodied, semi-sweet and quite pleasantly carbonated. Lasting roasted and dry finish with a little bitterness. A pleasant beer, at least considering the ABV. 120623

75 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 22.12.2010
Aroma is somewhat sweet with caramel malt and toffee. Flavour is sweet with nuts, caramel, some toffee and malt. Surprisingly rich and good for a Teerenpeli beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.75 L bottle. Kindly provided by Rune, enjoyed at GrOve’s. Body is deep brown with good clarity. A finger of sand-colored top. Rich aroma of bread and dark dried fruits. Rounded bready and caramelly malt aroma. Gently sweet with tones of pepper dark fruits. Smooth and well-bodied. Tasty and complex, and impressingly full considering the abv.

750ml flip-top bottle. Thanks to Finn. Deep, ruby-dark coloured body, declining fawn-coloured head. Moderate roasted malty aroma with suggestions of herbs and mild spices. Taste of roasted, semi-sweet malts with hints of caramel and chocolate, mild hints of star anise, as well. Bittering malts to the ending. Fits the winter season quite well (Tromsø, 18.12.2011).

Flaske 0,75l fra Kilpishalli. Skibotn 8 Okt 11.
