Draught 0.3L at Teerenpeli Helsinki. Pale brown head. Mild malty nose. Dark reddish colour. Slightly sour malty taste. Some hints of syrop and chocolate in the nose. quite mild taste.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of chocolate. The flavour is sweet and roasted malt with some chocolate.

Deep red semi-dark color, big good brownish head. Sweet, chocolaty, cocoa-like aroma. Dull but ok. Soft, chocolaty, calm flavor. Some ugly metal. Too low on hops. Very boring and all about cocoa.

(Draught at the brewpub, Lahti, on 2008-10-25) Dark brown. Medium sized quickly disappearing white head. Light malty nose. Quite full bodied and still watery palate with lots of carbonation. Roastedness, some chocolate and bitterness in taste. Chcolate and bitterness in aftertaste.

Draught. Dark ruby-red brown, excellent mocca-beige head. Ok, malty aroma. Taste dry, chocolate & nuts. Medium finish.

Draught. Very dark ruby red colour with mediumsized beige creamyish foamy head. Aroma is sweet malts with some mild notes of licorace and caramel. Flavour is sweet red berries along with plum, raisins and some mild spicyness.

Near black colored, little lasting beige head. Strong berries in aroma, one could say traditional Teerenpeli aroma. Sweetness and caramel also slightly there. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also sweet and berry with plums and slight hops. Aftertaste dries, but only mildly. Again, basic and easy to drink Teerenpeli brew.

Dark red, thin tight light beige head. Served cold, but slightly creamy aroma, a little sour, also fresh hoppy aroma. Rich burnt malt taste initially, also hoppy, but fades to a mellower roasty malt. The finish returns to the burnt bitterness. Tasty. (5-4-7-4-13=3.3)

Very dark red. Massive chocolatey aroma. Cold, and with sharp carbonation. Cocoa powder taste, kinda-lacking beer. Finish again cocoa. A gimmick and a caricature. Had again a few weeks later - wasn’t so bad.
