Tap. Hazy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma of banana, wheat and yeast. Some apricot in flavor. Smells and tastes like a Paulaner hefe. Well done.

Pours light yellow with a smooth head. Aroma of wheaty malts, spices, hints of banana and earthy notes. Taste is wheaty and malty with some light spicy banana notes. Finish is smooth and malty. Okay, quite well balanced.

nice light hefe, aroma could be stronger along with the taste. banana sweetness. For 4.7% a good hefe, a lot better than some examples of this style but still a bit short from the munich breweries.

Poured hazy dark orange with decent head. Aroma is banana and wheat.. Flavour actually the same. Easy to drink, a bit watery. A bit more malts maybe?

Pours a hazy orange colour with a thick, lacy, white head. Aroma of wheat, sweet honey and some herbal notes. Flavour of wheat, sweet honey again, banana and stinging citrus. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a finish of sweetish wheat and citrus. Quite nice actually.

Hazy yellow body, small white head. In pubs pint, which is not made for weizen. Aroma of clove, tart and some sugary perfumes. Not good weizen. Homebrewish.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2013 Tap @ Teerenpeli Kamppi, Helsinki 16/12/11. Pours a regular hefeweizen, cloudy orange with a large, billowy white head. Aroma is wheat and clove, tones of banana. Taste is quite dry with wheat, a lot of clove in the finish, not sweet and not much of banana. Palate is a bit watery.

Tap @ Teerenpeli, Tampere. Pours cloudy golden amber with a small off white head leaving some lace. A citric, wheat, hoppy, bananas, sweet, yeast and fruity. Flavor is velvety lean, oily thick, like aroma, very nice. Finishes with a well balanced bitter sweet and yeasty aftertaste. Excellent weizen.
