   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 12/20
raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - MAY 2, 2010
0,5 l bottle (bbe 05/10). Clear yellow golden, small white head with good lace. Nose is somewhat fresh flowery, with malty backbone. Flavor is malty, spicy, very beefy with flower and quite a lot of butterness in the aftertaste. Certainly good and a bit czech pils style. Strangely tasty. Sweet even, but with a nice aftertaste. Palate is quite thick, but nothing too fat for this style.

Clear golden with a medium white head. Malty aroma with hints of grassy hops. Flavour came out dry and had pale malt, grassy hops and hay. Finished dry and bitter.

.5L bottle - Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Pours a golden yellow color. Aromas of grass, cheerios, and some hops. Flavor is typical pilsner, not a lot of hops, a nice smooth taste. Nice and dry in the finish.

Bierkrug (2131) - Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, GERMANY - DEC 27, 2009
500 ML bottle in Germany. I will rate this as a Helles and not against other types. Clear golden color with nice white head. Sweet and a little higher alcohol like a Helles should be. An excellent Helles, one of the best.

Maria (10123) - Thisted, DENMARK - OCT 18, 2009
It’s a yellow-golden beer with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and light fruit. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, light fruit, hay and the finish is slightly dry. It’s soft and pleasant.

500 ml bottle. From Germany. Clear golden colour with white medium-size head. Grassy hoppy, malty and citrus aroma. Sweet and earthy, slightly hoppy flavour with honey, barnyard and alcohol notes. Not interesting.

Pours golden yellow with dense white head. Muted hop aroma. Very pleasant drinking experience on a hot summer day in Germany.

DruncanVeasey (7098) - NUNEATON, Top 13, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2009
Bottle from Arden Wines. Bright fizzing gold with a high stable head. Typically pale fragrant German aroma pulling in blossomy hop, beeswax, hay and faint leather. Slippery palate exuding hay, bread and honey. Just another sweet balanced German lager, really. Slick, flat and floury, but quality.
