500 ML bottle in Germany. I will rate this as a Helles and not against other types. Clear golden color with nice white head. Sweet and a little higher alcohol like a Helles should be. An excellent Helles, one of the best.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2013 Re-rate from bottle. Golden, fine carbonation, nice white lace. Strong grassy hop aroma on hayish malt. Solid malt body, cookies and bread, very nice broad grassy and honeyish hop profile. Sparkly mouthfeel, nice and moreish. Happy I tried this one again. Old rating: 5 3 5 3 11 Bottle, thanks Pivnizub. Cloudy golden, creamy low head. Grainy nose. Medium to light body. Soapy grains, metallic dryness, subdued hop finish.

[bottle] Nice aroma of fresh, boiling hops, hay, and sweet, crisp malt. Clear, dark straw with a lasting white flannel blanket. Flavour is on the sweet side, with some nice malt, but still comes off a bit crisp with the medium carbonation and subtle hops bitterness. Biscuits and hay. Medium body, sweet yet slightly crisp finish.

Pours golden yellow with dense white head. Muted hop aroma. Very pleasant drinking experience on a hot summer day in Germany.

Test vom 17.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,10,12,10,11,11 - 10,85

Bottle 50cl. Pours a pale golden clear brew with small but stable white head. Broad malty tastes complete the decent hop notes perfectly. A bavarian malty Export.

Bottle. clear and golden with a dry finnish. Low in carbonation with a subtle hoppiness. Pleasant and refreshing but nothing exceptional.

Bottle at Oktoberfest, North Bar, Leeds. Pours a clear amber, two fingers of pillowy head. Classic German look. Aroma is standard lager-ish meh. Taste is great, though, fairly juicy at the start before a bitter hoppiness feels like it crushes that sense of flamboyance. Full bodied, long, creamy finish. Refreshing and thirst quenching. This is very nice.

Bottled, 500ml from Victoria Wineshop, Oakham, Rutland. Gold with white head. There is a light, fruity, malty body to this, fresh, crisp then a really pleasant lemony hop flavour, some bitterness and lasting on the palate. I really enjoyed this overall, good stuff.
