On tap at Tegernsee Braustubl. Orange-brown, cloudy copper with a creamy head. Light chocolate malt, good substantial flavour. Smells heavily of malt, with a hint of gravy. Easy drinking but lacks flair.

50cl, not sure if bottled or draft. Clear amber-brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma of caramel, toast, hint of roasted malts, medium sweet. Flavour is likewise, burnt caramel, light metallic note, light-bitter finish. Light-bodied, soft carbonation. Nice enough.

Clear dark amber/copper colour, with a nice thick brownish head, lacing. Smell is malty, sweet, with bread notes. Taste also, with even nuts and licorice notes. Sweet dunkel, nice.

edpeg (806) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 12, 2013
Pours brown to reddish hue with clear body and thick off-white head. Aroma is malts, roasted malts, hops, some fruits. Palate is medium full bodied, but watery, and carbonation and mouth feel. Taste is malty, sweet, roasty with some dryness and weak flavors of hops. Overall not quite interesting a Dunkel, but drinkable. Seems to get a bit more character when warming up.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Malt all the way. From start to end. Quite delicious but that malt bombardment is quite for fans.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Clear dark amber in colour with a very low head and thin body. Taste of brown sugar, basmati rice, caramel, burnt nuts and roasted almonds. Hints of malt and hops. Quite easy to drink but little bit too boring and dull.

A dark amber brown coloured wet with a weak white head. A roasted malt aroma, yeasty and a touch meaty! Medium and fizzy mouthfeel. A medium light taste of roasted malt, nutty and yeasty, then a faint sourness in the background comes through and takes over in the finish. Bottle from Fristo Getränkemarkt, Freising, Germany.
