(Bottle, Aufsturz, Berlin, 24 july 2010) Clear yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grain, grass and tropical fruit. Malty taste with bread, grain, tropical fruit (pineapple) and grassy hops in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Well balanced and tasty with a solid malt foundation and a generous grassy hop character.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from clockwork. Aroma is grainy pale malts, small hints at fruity easters. Taste is similar, though with a noteable sweetness, perfectly balanced with peppery grassy hop. Great carbonation makes for quite an excellent beer indeed.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught@Battersea Beer festival. Pretty clean and crisp as you would expect a German Helles to be. Crisp bready pale malt and grassy hops, with a subtle burst of apricot.

2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Subtle hoppy nose, grassy and lemony.
Pale, low carbonation, instable head.
Flavors much too subdued in my oppinion, a bit of haylike malt - then nothing. A flowery or bitter taste would be nice to balance this off.
Watery exit, slight grain aftertaste. Without the label I would have thought this was a low alcohol beer.

Bottled(500ml). -Pale yellow coloured, medium sized white head that went away fast, grainy nose. Caramelish malty, faint hoppy and light bready with quite dry nutty finish. Boring beer without anything Spezial here.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of grassy hops and grain. The flavor is grassy hops with low bitterness and some grain and bready malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not too much going on here.
