Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - December. Also available bottle conditioned.
Christmas Cracker is Teignworthy Brewery`s festive ale - smooth, dark and warming. Malt made by our neighbours at Tucker`s Maltings, is blended with generous quantities of Herefordshire hops to create a rich taste.

500ml bottle from Torquay supermarket. Big tasting beer with no carbonation. An alcohol feel of a barley wine. Sturdy malt with a good burn of hops. Holds together well. This tastes like a whiskey beer. Wood and vine character. A very satisfying Winter Warmer pulling well above its weight.

bottle. Dark colour. Malty start, fruity in the middle, wuite hoppy in the finish. The hops have pleasant citrusy flavours.

Bottle, 500ml. A reddish-brown colour with no head. Aroma is hoppy, slightly sweet with fruit cake. Taste is fairly hoppy, some chocolate malt, cherry and caramel. Flat carbonation - clearly hasn’t bottle conditioned. A moderately bitter, tannic finish with some caramel. Pretty tasty; shame about the lack of carbonation.

Bottle conditioned. Gorgeous looking ruddy brown beer with foamy off-white head. Fruity nose, smooth palate & a malty taste with lingering bitterness. A good winter warmer.

Bottle purchase from Tuckers maltings online. Poured a chesnut colour with very little head good spicey and malty aroma. Taste was pleasantly malty with some dried fruits and had a definate christmasy feel to it. Another good beer from Teignworthy.
