Nothing is more local than Santa Barbara’s Fiesta. And nothing pairs better with Fiesta than a great local beer! Telegraph is proud to brew our Cerveza de Fiesta right here in downtown Santa Barbara, for locals and visitors alike. This classic Czech Pilsner-style lager is crisp, refreshing, and muy delicioso. It is just the beer to pair with great food, old and new friends, and good times. Viva la Fiesta!

So good to be #10 rater. 750 c&c from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Batch No. 81. Opens with a cannon shot. Pours light gold with a fizzy/creamy white head. Aroma is mildly bready with some grassy hop. Med + body. The carb is very frothy. There’s a lot of grass, and the breadiness is not obnoxious. The BC may be a bit over the top, but there’s an incredible amount of flavor. The bitter is tearing at my jaw hinges. This after finishing off a Evil Twin Freudian Slip. I’m nominating this one for an Imperial Pilsner. Excellent lager (and I’m not a friend of those for the most part).

Draft at Imbibe Wine. Nose is lightly flowery and white bread type yeast. Urine yellow with a big heavy lacing white head. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet, and a hint of caramel flavorwise. Not bitter enough for a good pils.

Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar. Pours a clear yellow color with a thick fluffy white head. A thin layer sticks, leaving some decent lacing. The aroma is pretty much what you’d expect; bready and grassy, with corn, herbs, and a little lemon. The flavor falls right in line with that. No surprises or thrills. But this is pretty solid. Nothing skunky, just simple, clean, and refreshing. The bready sweetness is countered nicely by a dry and bitter finish. Yeah, I like it.

750ml bottle. Rating #5. Slight haze to it, light straw yellow color with a pretty aggressive white head, a lot of carbonation to this one and it left a decent amount of white lacing and a rocky head after a few minutes. Big grassy aroma and a big pilsner malt presence, like fresh milled malt. Clean flavor with a nice little bite, more grassy, cracked barley flavor, not bad. (1896)

A: The pour is a very pale straw color with just a thin layer of white foam. S: The aroma on this is very, very heavy on the sweetness, seems like corn. There is some grass and maybe even green chile peppers (or some sort of green vegetable). Light malt and bread with just a hint of yeast. T: Lightly sweet malts with lots of green, vegetal notes start this one off. There is quite a bit of grass and straw with just a mild yeast note. There is also a hint of banana on the background. M: The body is light with a medium level of carbonation. O: I should have known better, but my curiosity got the best of me. Not recommended.

Pours a really light yellow almost to the point of white. Initially clear but the bottom of the bottle is more hazy. Crisp and without any of the corn tastes of the bad pils. Nice fluffy head on this with each pour. macro drinkers will find this to be superior
