4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sampled on 10/1/2011. Batch 77. This sour/wild ale pours a slightly cloudy reddish orange color from a corked and caged 750ml bottle. Large sized beige foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. The aroma is fruity and sweet, cherry and tart with a touch of oak. A medium bodied sour/wild ale. The malts are fruity, cherry, sweet and tart with a touch of oak. The hops are herbal and earthy. There is a touch of oak and a mild tartness throughout. Lively carbonation. Nice balance of fruit, sweet, tart and wood. A nice representation of a Flanders Brown ale. The tartness comes out and the beer gets a whole lot funkier as it warms. I really like the wild/sour ale from Telegraph. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly tart.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Caramel color with huge amount of white foam. Oaky and musty aroma. Champagne flavor with a feint hint of sour cherry but not as flavorfu-sour-fruity as a Belgian Lambic

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle thanks to Todd. Pours a copper/brown color with a medium off-white head. The aroma is full of fruit and musty caramel malts. A nice flavor of sweet and also tart cherries, oak, very smooth, raisins, something akin to lightly toasted malts, smooth. Not a dead-on Flanders Brown but instead something unique and tasty. Very nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from City Beer. Pours cloudy copper with a decent beige head and a sharp fig aroma. There is a sour barnyard flavor that is rather fruity (cherry) with an oaky finish. Seems to be underrated.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Tony’s Darts Away, Burbank. Cloudy, ruddy brown with a small, creamy head. Intense chocolate and sour fruit aroma. Very sour, some yoghurt, dry wood, definite chocolate flavours. A beer that turns in all directions, but very interesting.
