COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This intensely sour "wild ale" recalls the earliest rustic beers crafted centuries ago before brewers had an understanding of controlled fermentation. Brewed with the addition of lemon verbena, as well as lactobacillus and brettanomyces. Telegraph Reserve Wheat is an all-together different beast from modern beer. Not for the faint of heart, this special brew is available in extremely limited quantities.

Multiple bottles at this point. I really love this beer, and I’m surprised that it’s not rated more highly. Light yellow body with a nice head. The aroma is lemon juice and a very light funk. The body is great on this beer, perfect carbonation for a beer of this style. The body makes this beer incredibly easy to drink and refreshing. The taste is a nice balance of wheat flavor with perfect tartness. Really enjoyable and refreshing.

Pre-GBBF 2016 tasting at Chris&Ruth’s, Day-1. It pours a clean straw color with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is tangy acidic with notes of lemon juice and apricots. Taste is also acidic and fruity tangy with more lemon zest and apricots. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, very nice

Sampled @ ChrisO Pre-GBBF Shindig. Murky yellow color, small to average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste sourish, grapes, yoghurt, buttery, sour. Not good. At least I don’t like it at all! Yuk.

Clear gold in color... Aroma of tart wheat, light funk... Flavor is light bodied yet tart, like a Berliner and a lager hybrid... Decent, not terribly exciting ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Cloudy apricot hue with a fizzy head of white that doesn’t stick around. The aroma blends several elements: lemon, wheat, peach and he ripe pear, white grapes, a splash of lactic acid. The flavor’s nowhere near "intensely sour," as the label states -- a mild, lemony acidity greets the palate before gentle pear and white grape roll in. The finish is crisp and dry; the soft body assists the beer in evacuating without leaving a trace. A nice little Berliner -- refreshing, but not too intense.
