3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Ledgers Liquor. Pours a dark ruby color with a fine four-finger tan head. Aromas of cocoa, malt and spice. Flavor is somewhat mild chili over chocolate. Quite a spicy treat. Body is medium with fine carbonation. Finish comes on chocolate/cocoa with a little chili - not really hot, just chili. Really well done.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. burgundy coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Aroma of berries, spice, fruits. Quite peculiar and offensive in the nose. For me that is. Flavour of berries, caramel, spice, fruits and some grass. Medium to full bodied. Dry frutiys and caramelly end.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a dark amber color with a finger of off-white head. Strong spice aromas of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. There’s a nice little bit of banana aroma and dark fruit, too. Maybe a little bit of coffee. The flavor is nicely sweet with quite a bit of caramel, toffee, and spices. Nutmeg and cinnamon seem to be the most prominent. Some hints of banana as well as cherries. Medium bodied and medium carbonation.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle… Clear, dark ruby ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Smells like ketchup – spicy and sweet. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is spicy, herbal and moderately sweet. Finishes spicy, light sweet and mildly acidic.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle from Oakes and Beershine. Amber pour. Aroma is spicy as hell. Ovedone on the spices. Flavor is also too spicy. Base beer seems like it would be good, but they went nuts with the spices.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours with a huge, foamy light brown head and a murky deep brown body. Very interesting aroma. Notes of peppers, spearmint, peppermint, cocoa powder, bananas, baking chocolate, flour, cinnamon, allspice and twigs. Taste is chocolate, and earthy with notes of earthiness, christmas spices, woodsy, sweet and minty with leather in the finish. Very lively carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 cc bottles from Capone’s and Blue Dog. Pours translucent mahogany, more toward deep copper, with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, nutmeg, cinnamon, mild hops, nuts. Tastes caramel malty, rich, with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and finishing hops. Got mild oak in this, too. Overall this is another solid beer from Telegraph.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a nearly opaque dark mahogany with a thin-lacing tan head. Aroma of lightly sweet dark caramel malt and a hint of cinnamon toward a semi-tart finish. Body starts with a sweet dark caramel and spiced finish with light fruity tartness throughout. Finishes thinner and semi-tart with a hint of doughy yeast. Interesting, but I’d like it without the tartness.
