Can, 4.8%. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour has a little bread, low to medium bitterness. Creamy hint in the finish? Just another pale lager.

Canned tnx to HA3OV. Light golden colour, with average foamy white head. Weak aroma with some hops found. Flavour is weak, grassy hops. Gives dry mouthfeel.

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bought at a dept. store, sold as "SwissBeer Collection". Someone else rated it under "Halden Gut" but I believe this is the correct one. Straw color, small nose of hops and little else. Hardly any grain taste with that yeasty sweet hoppiness Heineken brings you. Livable for a can if it were in the US, but certainly better to be had. On the other hand it was beat for half liter at CHF .60.

Canned. Thanks to Dorqui for this one. Pale yellow in colour. Foamy white head, lacings. The aroma is malty and somewhat hoppy. The flavour is dry and earthy. The aftertaste is kinda sweet.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Canned. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is pretty much nothing, only some weak paper and skunky hops found. Flavour is paper, grass, hay and something else, which is really dry, but I can’t exactly tell what. Also the palate is very dry.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Canned 50cl. It pours a yellow beer with a fast diminishing white head. The aroma is of malt and cereals with a touch of hops. Some oily and metallic hints. A rather sweet and tart nose all in all. There is a presence of metal in the taste too. A watery and bland pale lager. Cardboard notes, cereals, some sour elements and a very poor malt character. Underhopped and fairly soapy. This lager reminds me somewhat of a bad malt liquor. Hints of sour apples. The finish is very poor and consists of paper and stale bread. An oily and strange sour aftertaste. Indeed, it’s a bland beer. There are a lot better Swiss lagers out there, but none of the mainstream ones are even close to beeing enjoyable.

Sampled in Switzerland in 2001. Was very well priced at little over 25 US cents. was very light with minimal flavor but packed a good punch of alcohol. worth a try if you are looking for more than a sipping beer.

Pretty uninspiring no-name supermarket beer. Some hops. This beer clearly wins by adding lemonade for a shandy.
