Great newer canned APA. Rye adds some spice, but not overly so, just at end. Good value, will definitely have again.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at Nikoís with friends. Pour is clear orange with a big white head and good lacing. Big weedy, ganja, garlicy, oniony, grassy, biscuity, and resinous aroma. Taste is heavy weed, garlic, onion, resin, and vanilla cake with a big bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Pretty "meh" IPA but the garlic notes are a bit too overbearing.

On tap @ West End. Golden pour with a white head. Some vegetal hops, grain, and grass. Bready malt sweetness, a touch of apple, and toast. Flavor is kind of grainy. Apple, bread, grass, and maybe some paper. A bit of bitterness on the finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A pale yellow pour into the glass, with a ring of light suds that leaves chunky webbed lacing. The nose is a direct combination of pine and rye. Flavors of rye, bitters, light lemon, celery, pine resin and grassy hops finish with a distinctive celery essence and lingering rye bitterness. The medium-light body and semi-active mouthfeel lend it to a hot summer quencher, but the contrasting thickness (complexity) of the rye and piney bitters weigh it down enough to suffice an "indoor" offering. A very nice rye contingency is integrated well to give this APA its character.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz can. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a smallish white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet bready malts and spicy rye with some dank hops.
The flavor is a little sweet bready malt with rye followed by a big, slightly harsh, resiny bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, a very nice rye pale, better than most rye hoppy beers Iíve had. Tons of bitterness thatís slightly harsh.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Pours a clear gold straw with white head, settles quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is hoppy, resinous, very strong rye, stinky. Flavor is mildly hoppy, slightly fruity, citrus and resinous with a hearty rye finish. Moderate carbonation, medium body, and crisp texture. Overall, an interesting brew, hoppy and rye throughout.

12 oz can from Liquor Kabinet, paired with some panang curry. Yellow, pale and clear with a white head and nice lacing. The aroma is rye, spices, citrus fruit and earthy hops. Similar flavor, quite a bit of rye. Light body with a thin soft feel and a crisp, dry finish. It was OK.
