4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Beautiful glowing orange-copper color. Plenty of hop bouquet, pine, grapefruit, perfume, and more. Really a mixed up mess of aromas, but in in a good way. I really like the low carbonation level. It makes it easier to enjoy the flavors without the interference of nasty carbonic acid. Uncompromisingly bitter, with just enough sweet carmel to offset. Love it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz can. Pours clear reddish amber with a medium creamy off white head that goes to a thin film and laces the glass some.
The aroma is sweet crystal malts with some piney fruity hops.
The flavor is sweet candy malts with some tropical fruit and piney resiny hops with medium bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and a bit watery.
Overall, a nice IPA. It’s a bit sweet for me, but I like the hop flavors.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep orange brown. Nose is initially pretty nice: grapefruit, floral hops, some resin, but then kind fell apart. Taste is mostly on the bitter dank side, with an off chemically unclean finish. Would take it in a pinch depending on what else is on offer, but would probably rather just pass.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy light amber - low carbonation, but a moderate lace - aroma of orange oil, caramel, grapefruit - low carbonation, watery/thin body - besides that, the flavor is decent - moderate sweet citrus/orange flesh, earthy and peppery hops - moderately resinous - there is a heavy/clunky caramel sweetness which I tend not to like in my ipas anymore - finish is leafy and fairly bitter, bordering on astringent, but only mildly so - a mixed bag.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can. Low carbonation leaves it lifeless and static in the glass with only a short off white head. And it has a brownish/amber hue instead of pale, which I guess India Pale Ale doesn’t need to be anymore? Sweet orange and pineapple juice and tree sap and caramel chew malt. Sweet and chewy and then quickly thinning into a limp, watery, flabby finish of bitter hemp oil. Once it reaches 50 degrees there’s a small bit of concrete mix but otherwise it maintains the orange / caramel thing, with swine-y notes of alcohol to give it that furniture polish chemical / fume smell. While the aroma and flavor components aren’t terrible, body and balance and texture all are terrible. Squeeze the cans, feel the limpness right there.
