Commercial Description:
Bottle conditioned; Regular
An exceptionally pale beer, brewed using "green" hops - harvested hops which have not been dried in a kiln. These hops were pitched to the copper within an hour of picking. The two hop varieties used for this beer were Mathon Golding from Lulsley Court and First Gold from Tedney. Both farms are within half a mile of the brewery.

Orangish yellow color, clear body with fast bubbles. White creamish and foamy head. Aroma is fruity, sweet, slightly alcoholic with notes of butter and perfume. Flavor is bitter, dry, sour, metallic, sticky palate.

Thanks to Gazza for this one!

EBF2008. It’s a slightly hazy, golden beer with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of smoke, yeast and grapefruit peel. The flavour has notes of smoke, malt, dry citrus and other fruits. I wonder if the smoky note is supposed to be in there?

From cask. Pours slight cloudy and orange with a fully gone head. Mild citrus hoppy aroma. Flavour is smoked and mild fruity hoppy with a light bitterness. Smooth and slight fruity finish with a lasting smoke note.

Bottled. This pours a slightly hazy gold colour. The aroma is earthy and grassy with a hint of citrus. It also tastes very grassy with a pleasingly strong flavour of black pepper. Rather nice, actually.

Bottle. Very pale appearance and poured flat. Hoppy with a bitter aftertaste. One of their better beers.
