IPA that is super drinkable with a big dry hop character and plenty of malt body. If we could only produce one beer this would be it.

The taste initially reminds me of Goose Island IPA with its reassuringly woody resin, but then a soft, grapey, gooseberry fool taste emerges, and is really New Zealandy. The hops have a fantastic leafy, fresh quality (best before 22/1/14). Next, the 7%ness of the malt bill politely makes itself known, with oat & breadcrust. Couldn?t be better balanced. Really a world class IPA.

330ml bottle. Milky, orangey, bright golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, resinous, citrusy and tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, hints of orange, mango and pineapple. Taste is dry, crisp bitter hoppy, juicy fruity, moderately sweet caramel malty, notes of grapefruit, orange, hints of passion fruit. Considerably hoppy, nonetheless very drinkable due to its malty backbone without being too heavy.

Bottle. Hazy gold, with a thin, white, head. Sweetish, tropical fruit and grassy hop aroma, with a malty edge. Flavour had biscuity malts, more fruit and a dryish finish, with some peppery hops. Enjoyable.

On tap at OX184, Edinburgh, june 15th 2015. Hazy amber body with a small white head. Aroma is a punch of tropical fruits, fresh and zesty. Taste is quite bitter, mild sweet, with a strong grapefruit dominance. Dry and nice, refreshing as they come. The thick malt body would suggest a sweeter and stickier beer, but this really goes down like a dry crisp ipa. Impressive stuff.

Brown bottle, 330ml. Pours golden with a thin white head subsiding quickly. Scent is super sexy citrus IPA with medium light sweetness. Taste is dense IPA yeast and very little citrus. Mouthfeel is medium dense IPA and the finish is clean and dry. Great.
