Keg at Hanging Bat. It pours pale yellow with a small white head. The nose is mild citrus, white grape, biscuit and floral. The taste is zesty citrus, light sherbet, straw, biscuit and floral notes with a dry, bitter finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth and drinkable, if a little unexciting.

Cask @ Blackfriars. Golden yellow colour, reasonable head. Complex tropical fruit marzipan aroma. Flowery biscuit grain flavour. Citrus aftertaste. Interesting sophisticated golden ale.

Aroma: No strong or defined flavours. Very mild aroma of tangerine and biscuit.

Appearance: Clear golden with a medium white head. No carbonation. Light lacing marks.

Taste: Light, fruity, easy drinking flavour. Some biscuit notes. Not the most interesting or complex, but really well balanced.

Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Easy drinking, simple and well balanced. A good session ale.

[cask at the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Brilliantly clear golden pour with a half-inch white head. Aroma is of light citrus fruit and some grassy hop, touch of biscuit. Flavours are similar, turns into a nicely dry session ale following the initial burst of orange citrus. Good stuff [05012013]
