3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from local Aldi. There’s one of their rather decent beer festivals on just now. Pours pale. Ever so slightly hazy. Thin white head. Pretty fine grapefruit aroma. Some dank tropicality too. Heady stuff for a usually fairly boring style. Nice creamy carbonation. Full mouthfeel for the ABV. Some sweetness but quickly turns sharp. Pretty bitter brew. Lemon sharpness. Quite pithy. Thin, dry cracker malt. Dry finish. Nice and easy with enough layers to keep you interested.
