Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours crystal clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent with a slight, creamy white topping. Floral, perfumey hops in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with more flowers, lavender, maybe some soap, fine dough, straw. Light bodied with fine but sharp carbonation. Crisp finish with some biscuity pale malts, lighter floral notes than before, mellow bitterness. Interesting.

Keg at Hanging Bat. It pours pale yellow with a small white head. The nose is mild citrus, white grape, biscuit and floral. [cask at the Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Brilliantly clear golden pour with a half-inch white head. Aroma is of light citrus fruit and some grassy hop, touch of biscuit. Flavours are similar, turns into a nicely dry session ale following the initial burst of orange citrus. Good stuff [05012013]
