3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Murky brown, beige green head. Cream, forest, oats, fig. Equally creamy, almost yoghurt like mouth feel. Light alcohol but with a balanced sweetness. Warming. Better than I expected. (At the De Molen tasting)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled @ Monthly De Molen Tasting. Almost pitch black colored, medium sized beige to light brown head that disappears quickly. Smell malts, grains, dark and roasted malts, oatmeal. Taste dark and roasted malts, lightly bitter, some alcohol. A bit unbalanced, but not bad.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle courtesy of Dan - merci! Pours a deep black, finger and a hald of head. Aroma is gorgeous hazelnut, with maltiness and chocolate. Taste is similar, almost like drinking Nutella. In a way. Plum and other dark fruits hiding under the surface. Nice, medium-long finish. I really like this - unassuming, yet brilliant.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Drinkmonger. Lovely stout. Rich colour and malty chocolate aroma with thinnish head. Medium fizz. Not getting nuts have to say though, although have had 2-3 bottles previously which seemed more complex.. big chocolate instead.
Was my favourite new UK beer until i had Thornbridge Bracia! Pretty good fare from always excellent Tempest brewery though.
