On cask at holyrood 9a. A slightly cloudy gold, with a nose of bread, citrus and toffee. Palate has a lot of zest, a nice balanced beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from...t’interweb. Slim white collar over a gauzy orange beer. It hums softly of orange and blackcurrant wine gum with splashes of KJ’s homebrew TCP and Allsorts yeast. Soapy stewed orange and pollen dappled taste. More Allsorts. Mid bitterness. Dab of buttered honeycomb. Not brilliant

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
5.6%ABV. Extra Pale Ale.
Poured out a yellow amber. 12ºSRM.
Nose has ripe citrus like ripe red grapefruit or ripe Sunkist oranges.
Mouthfeel is sudsy. Carbonation is pronounced. You notice the hop freshness first with citrus brightness and fruity breadth, like ripe white peaches, then pine, grass and finally a little resin. The malty backbone holds up nicely with noticeable malty richness, there is white bread toast, baked pie crust and pale malt flavors of water biscuit, raw peanuts,
Finish is medium with a vegetal, herbal and almost hyssop like finish. A very cheekily hoppy pale ale. Like the cirrus stratus clouds that this is likely named for, they’re a mile high...but packed with flavor.

on draft. Where did the head go? There was no aroma. Both may be circumstantial. More Andy Capp than Angus Oh.
