3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, - JUL 19, 2011Cask at The Caley. A dark golden ale with a fair beige head. Aroma is dominated by resinous, fruity hops. Specifically passionfruit, pineapple and mango. Quite sweet with some caramel also. Flavours of passionfruit and pineapple. A little bitterness too with an oily mouthfeel. Fruity hop linger. Very nice but a bit sweet for me.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mzaar (883) - Varberg, SWEDEN - APR 22, 2013
Fat @ BrewDog, Edinburgh. Orangedimmig öl med vitt skum. Exotiska frukterna dominerar skarpt i aromen. Samma återfinns i smaken, men det är lite för tunt, lite för lite, lite för enahanda.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 jamestulloch (477) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 8, 2013
Aroma: Yeast, white pepper and orange.
Appearance: Hazy amber body with a thin white head that quickly fades. Light carbonation. Good lacing.
Taste: White pepper and overripe passionfruit. Lingering spice on the finish.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Average carbonation fizz.
Overall: An unusual beer but not really my thing, unfortunately - I think the peppery spice is a little too dominant.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ACD (335) - Dublin, IRELAND - APR 3, 2013
Keg dispense at Brauhaus, Edinburgh. Hazy gold pour with thin white head. Loads of tropical fruit in the aroma: juicy papaya, passionfruit, white grape, melon, a touch of citrus. Taste gives plenty of mango and white grape with a bit of lime zest bitterness; a touch of light biscuity malt in there too. Mouthfeel is medium/thin. Nice crisp, dry finish. So refreshing and moreish - a brilliant pale ale.

Cask at Red Squirrel. Golden with a white head. Lots of tropical fruit and citrus hops with a solid malt backbone. Bitter finish. A good example of the style and very drinkable.

Keg at Sheffield Tap. Golden, with soft, white head. A sharpness on the tongue, provided by the fizziness. The hops are delicious: lychee, other tropical fruits. A sharpish finish. Extremely good.
