3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Pours golden, a bit unclear, with a big and persistent white head. Aroma of yeasts, esters, grapes, peach, apple juice, very interesting. Flavour is complex and rich, balanced, fruity sweetness, crisp and tasty, light sourness in the end. Medium to high body, medium carbonation. A personal and original version of Christmas saison. There’s something that reminds me the Avec les Bons Voeux.

Small bubbly white head, decent lacing. Hazy golden amber body. Nose is apple, hedgerows, yeast, banana. Flavour is apple, gooseberry, straw, more apple on the finish. Aftertaste is dry and slightly tart, hints of sourness. Light carbonation, crisp clean mouthfeel. Great saison, stupidly easy to drink.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle 500 ml, thanks to Lonick for this one! Poured into a tulip, ABV 8%
Pours a golden yellow beer, slight hazy, with a tall white head, thick and with good retention, leaving medium lacing on the glass.
Aroma is very yeasty, peachy.
Taste has floral notes, malts, light yeast, dry white wine, I don’t get the gooseberries but that’s because I never had any, I do get some apple juice. Quite complex taste actually.
Medium thin body, high carbonation.
Overall very good, real thirst-quencher.
