[cask at Inn Deep, Glasgow] On cask at the launch of Inn Deep. Pours clear gold with a very sparse bubbly head, due to the low pressure of the new font (this was rectified for later pints). Slightly sweet, grassy aroma. Some fruit – quite vinous on the nose. Similar flavours – bitter and hoppy, with a dry finish [07092012]

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - golden with a hoppy haze. Nice head. Nose - lemon and herbs. Taste - green tomato plant. Then lemon and more green notes. Palate - light to medium bodied with an oily texture and a long dry finish. Overall - i really like the oily texture. It started off gnarly then it became more interesting.

Cask at Bow. Clear golden orange, creamy white head. Slightly dank maybe, sweaty grapefruit hop nose. Nicely sweet but clean malt front, juicy peaches, grapefruit, oily soft but definitely bitter finish. Nice.

Cask @ Red Squirrel 021012
Pale straw, crystal clear, frothy white head, not much lacing
Aroma - Sweet soft citrus hops, apricot, soft grapefruit, light pale malt background
Taste as aroma, quite sweet, light juicy pale malt, some sharp citrus, soft grapefruit hop with a touch of spicy hop in there
Palate - medium carb, thin body, little oily. Finish - bit dry, as main flavour, some lager spicy hop in the linger, rather thin
Overall - Comes across as a golden ale / lager hybrid. Not one of the best from Tempest but its OK
