Aroma is a fine mix of hops and caramel, a good sweet balance. Has beautiful head and subtle carbonation. Flavour is very fine lemon and malt flavours with lemon and hazelnut. Great mouthfeel. It’s a wonderful lager.

Bottle, 355ml. Pours a clear golden colour with a modest white head. Faint aroma, pretty dead. Medium body with some nice worthiness, but not much going on.

355ml bottle. Some vegetable and sweet malty aromas, all of them really subtle. Pours bright gold, a bit hazy, with vanishing white head, almost no lacing. Medium body, high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is sweet, som herbal. Very dull, tasteless. You can have some aftertaste, notice that you did drank something, but still wonder what.

Bottled at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Hazy golden, minimal head. Fruity nose with melon and grass. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Somewhat milky with some bread and citrus. Low-medium bitterness. Laid back, but non-distinctive.

A golden ale with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, classic pils with light saaz hops. In mouth, a light refreshing pils, saaz hops, decent.

Bottle poured a hazy yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas of bread, straw and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, light straw and a hint of earthiness with a crisp dry finish.

First rating of what I hope will be several ventures into the merging Mexican craft brewery scene, fitting that long time runners Primus is first one out. Main feature of this beer, however slight it might be, is the malt character, both in aroma and taste. There is little in terms of hops, however it is fairly carbonated. This one is fairly widely available in Mexico, and my guess is that it is targeted as a direct competitor to the Mexican macro lagers. In that respect, the beer compares very well.
