COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Tenacious Traveler is invigorating, breaking from the norm of traditional Shandys. A persistent fellow with a spicy disposition, TT is a bright, vibrant wheat beer brewed with real ginger and clover honey that delivers the perfect balance between sweet and spice.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid grapefruit juice color and consistentcy with 1-finger white head. Nose is ginger, clover honey, mild wheat. Tastes initially somewhat sweet and citric, with notes of ginger, honey, and wheat flavors at mid-palate, and an odd tasting, somewhat muddled finish.

What a weird lemony light piece of fluff. Strange. Fizzy and citrus. I don’t like this.

12 oz bottle This was a gift from friends while at Hickory Nuts in Holden Beach. My first Shandy was in England. This was a true shandy with lemon on the nose and taste. There was some sourness but overall a very good shandy. The lemon peel dominates the ale. The shandy had average carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a very cloudy yellow-copper color with a small off-white head on it. Nose has a lot lemonade in there, as you’d expect from the "style." Taste does have a little bit of extra spice in there and (sad to admit this) is pretty damn refreshing on a hot Friday afternoon.

Pours cloudy, murky yellow, with a thin, off-white head. Aroma is lemonade. Taste is a sweet, mellow, honey/ginger/lemon....wheat. Nice flavour, but not much beer... Good blending of ingredients.....

Lemon and ginger aroma. Hazy orange juice appearance. Strong ginger flavor. Not that appetizing.

Quite weird and also strange. Was fruity and sweet but with not so common features in it.

Bottle gift from SJ. Again, not too crazy about the Shandy’s. This bodies, nothing out standing . Notes of Honey and lemon. Very thin.

THOUGHTS: Very light and fairly flavorful, but a little watered down. It would make a nice lawnmower drink. I say drink, because it’s barely a beer. The ginger got a little hot by the end. TECHNICAL:Bottle. Poured a muddy, slightly greenish, dirty looking, medium yellow with tons of tiny bubbles and a large, white head that left fair to good lacing. The aroma had honey, ginger, hints of lemon; but mostly ginger. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and acidic; while the finish was lightly sweet, lightly acidic and slightly bitter. There was lemon, ginger, honey, but it was somehow all watered down. The light to medium body was a little bit watery with fizzy carbonation and a dry and slightly astringent finish.
