hazy lemonade color with a small white head.
smells like dusty wheat mixed with lemon, yeast and soft earthy spiciness.
the flavor is the same... a bit rich and sludge-y with some grass showing up in the aftertaste. not much going on but it is well put together and refreshingly tart on the finish.
medium bodied with a touch of substance to the texture.

Draught at brewpub. Cloudy, straw-yellow colour with a medium white head. This seasonal version was published as 6.6 ABV and it dominated everything from the aroma to the flavour. Slightly below average due to ABv not well hidden.

Fruity aroma. No head. Taste is very stringent, fruity and bad. Much too sour and not very good. Hard to finish even the sample

Draft pint at the brewpub. Visual is true to style, light yellow with an orange tint and an opaque thickness to it. Fruity, going down way too easily on a warm Las Vegas evening. Nicely laced. Tangy finish. Only a tad yeasty in the aroma. Quite drinkable and pleasant for even the unitiated. (#3075, 9/6/2007)
