From a bottle. Pours hazy murky medium brown with a thin white head. Smells like raisins, nuts, malt, syrup. Sweet and good. Tastes like light coffee, grains, bready, nothing like it smells. Low/medium body and light carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampler flight on tap at the brewery (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a rich brownish copper pour, a gentle haze but some healthy more transparent glow. A frothy tannish layer atop stays as a decent film. Aromas are gentle earthy and toasty malt, telltale brown feel but not heavy. Earthy, a bit carmelized and soil. Faint cocoa, carmelized feel. A touch of life in the earthy hop department. Florals, some grass. Initial is lighter end of the fold, almost a creaminess up front. Some gentle biscuity and bread sweetness, some florals, a touch of grass. Mellow toasty and biscuity feel, earthy and semi sweet brown malt presence into the middle. A bit toasty, dry as we round the corner. Mellow to decent earthy hops, bit of florals, and subtle grass. Mellow spice. Finish is firmer carmelized feel, lingers on and on, bit of brown malt feel really lingers. Not bad. Not girthy, pretty drinkable.
