Dogbrick (2193), Columbus, Ohio, USA Apr 20, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. Served with a lemon, this beer is a cloudy yellow color with a medium thin and fluffy white head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing. Light yeast, fruit and wheat in the nose. Light, clean body with wheat, fruit and mild spice flavors. The finish is wheaty with a lightly spiced aftertaste. Pretty standard overall.
Charlzm (247), Los Angeles, California, USA Jan 1, 2008 Consumed on draft at brewery, 12/30/07. Cloudy (unfiltered), medium yellow. Nice head. No aroma to speak of. American style, as in no clove or banana taste components. At the very end, a bashful hint of spice. Not much flavor other than what the wheat adds. Not inspiring. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jan 1, 2008 on tap-pours a patchy white head and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is yeast, some clove. Taste is yeast, light malt, clove, lemon. OK effervescence. pint_size (1002), Austin, Texas, USA Dec 31, 2007 12-1-07 tap.
Smells decent - just thin and not complex. Slightly cloudy (very little) yellow and thin looking. Actually feels identical to water in the mouth. So weak and bland - a little similar to lemony dishwater.. Not horrible - just very weak bodied and flavored. A hint of a gauze aftertaste as well. brew4all (99), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Dec 23, 2007 Cloudy pour with a thin head. Descent grain and wheat aroma with a fruitiness. Tasted smooth with hints of wheat and citris. A slightly tart finish.
