Another good showing from Tenaya Creek. Excellent blend of citrus and dry-hopped elements. Sort of entry-level feel, more than passable. Nice value, nice beer.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a big white head and good lace. Aroma is a moderate citrus bomb with soe malt. Taste the Vienna malts up front then then some sweet wheat and bitterness. ABV is hidden well. Decent ipa but not the best.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sublym (78) - - AUG 24, 2012
Good ipa, I can definitly see the relationship totheir red ryder ale, same malt/ hop character only in an ipa. I prefer red ryder.

650ml bomber pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that had some nice retention and settled to leave only a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and passionfruit with some spicy hops and caramel. Taste is a bold grapefruit bitterness with some passionfruit and caramel malt sweetness with a light spicy hop bitterness in the finish. A very nice IPA styled brew that was just a little unbalanced for my tastes.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver Cloudy golden color, with creamy head. Nice aroma of fruity hops, yellow jam. Sweetish flavor of toffeish malt, very good, and well complemented by a nice and fruity hopping, not too resiny. Long final. Very good.
