COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed using 2-Row, wheat, Vienna and caramel malts and is hopped with Summit’s for bittering and flavor and Ahtanum for aroma. This IPA was also dry-hopped, meaning hops were put in the fermentors and serving tanks to give a big citrus and spicy aroma, with Ahtanum, Challenger and Chinook hops. Our IPA is an American style IPA that has a high amount of bitterness but is well balanced and very drinkable.

Shiny orange pour with a small white head...caramel malty aroma with a touch of citrus...hoppy taste..gets better as it warms...tiny bit of pine, but maltier than a normal IPA...Tasty..but essentially an average IPA.

Rating #861 - December 28, 2013 - Bottle from a customer at Coop. Aroma is grassy, lemon, pine, pepper. Clear golden pour with a fluffy white head, decent retention. Medium carbonation, mild alcohol warmth. Smooth mouthfeel, lots of grassy, spicy hops on the palate but very well balanced, citrusy sweetness of grapefruit meets a sharp dry-hop bitterness. Solid IPA.

In a word, balanced. Not overly hoppy, malty, citrusy, or resiny. Just an overall nice, smoothly drinkable IPA. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I have a strange craving to listen to Doug and the Slugs. Odd. Doubtful purchase but the locals appear to like it. Love the label art, colour and concept. Lightly hazy light apricot colour and a small white cap with sticky blobs. Not a lot of depth in the aroma but often that is a welcome thing. Thick yet airy fruit, caramel and very faint grain, mandarin, lemon and strawberry. My nose says so it is. The taste is also good - thick with some oily goodness, early notable spice wanders around with randomness, solid taste. Caramel and grain, pepper, apricot and grapefruit. Light funk thought. Had more than enough to just drink casually - that truly is the real test of enjoyment - and I dig it, mainly the spicy challenge. Made my eyes feel furry. I’ve been tricked before by letting a brewery reel me in with a decent IPA to buy other offerings and that may just happen here.

Bottle. Hazy bright amber with a nice one inch head. Moderate citrus nose with a trace of bitterness. Light clean body with a refreshing citrus happiness.

Pint at the source. Pours orange gold with a puffy white head that coats theglass in clumps. Bread, citrus and pine hop aroma. Taste is very hop forward. Grapefruit and pine resin. Oily finish.

Live rate. 22oz bottle from that place opposite The Yard House, Town Square, Las Vegas. Pours honey amber into a weizen with a strong, uneven white foam thickly lining the glass. Sponge-based tinned peach flan, batter and caramel aroma. Good rasping bitterness on the tongue beneath soft biscuit, peach, boozy orange liqueur notes. Finishes harsh and peppery with plenty of alcohol presence. Decent enough but a pint is plenty.
