COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed using 2-Row, wheat, Vienna and caramel malts and is hopped with Summit’s for bittering and flavor and Ahtanum for aroma. This IPA was also dry-hopped, meaning hops were put in the fermentors and serving tanks to give a big citrus and spicy aroma, with Ahtanum, Challenger and Chinook hops. Our IPA is an American style IPA that has a high amount of bitterness but is well balanced and very drinkable.

Bottle - Floral hops, some citrus and pine with a bit of caramel sweetness in the back. Clear amber with a foamy off white head. Orange pith, some pine and a nice balance of hops. A bit of bitterness that lingers into the finish. A good IPA, would drink again.

650ml brown bottle. Deep gold coloured brew with some haze. Sturdy white foam on top. Good looking bands of lace left on the glass. Nose has a pleasant sweet fruitiness, noticeable caramel and toasted malt notes, citrus and pine notes as well. Taste has caramel malt base, orange peel, grapefruit, pine. Long finish, grapefruity and spicey/piney aftertaste, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, good drinkability. Pleasant IPA, would drink again.

brokensail (11529) - Orange County, California, USA - APR 5, 2013
Clear golden pour with a white head. A really nice fresh fruit nose of grapefruit, tangerine, and pineapple. Good tropical aromas, some floral hops, and bread. Nice and dry on the palate. Grapefruit and tangerine citrus notes, bread, light tropical fruits, and a light pine bitterness. Kind of grassy, however.

Clear amber from the tap. White foam dies quickly to a thin film. Aroma of orange and pine. Hoppy flavors and a fine resinous finish. Bitterness is cutting even for an IPA but short. Pretty nice.

Another good showing from Tenaya Creek. Excellent blend of citrus and dry-hopped elements. Sort of entry-level feel, more than passable. Nice value, nice beer.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a big white head and good lace. Aroma is a moderate citrus bomb with soe malt. Taste the Vienna malts up front then then some sweet wheat and bitterness. ABV is hidden well. Decent ipa but not the best.
