3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled on tap at St. Augustineís, pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus hops, resin, orange peel and caramel malt to back. Flavour of tropical fruits, bitter citrus hops, some spiciness, and a solid malt backbone. Well-rounded, refreshing and flavourful. Very good.

22oz bottle picked up from the brewery; seems fairly fresh. Both the aroma and the taste lean more towards the pine and resinous side of hops. I tend to like the sweeter more citrus tastes but this was fine.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at GABF. Pours an attractive deeper orange-copper with offwhite head. Nose is really bright. Orange peel, grapefruit, some juicy mango notes as well. Faint biscuity malts. On tasting, it is really nice. Lots of bitterness supporting this one. Orangey hops. Nice and dry and a big upgrade over the IIPA.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a golden orange color with a medium sized off white head. The nose is floral, citrus and mild pine with some lightly sweet pale maltiness in the background. The flavor has a moderate caramel malt base with ample amounts of grapefruit citrus, pine and spicy hops. Although this had pieces that I thought were nice, they didnít work together for me. Maybe this would be better at the brewery.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber courtesy of here4beer. Pours copper/orange with a small khaki head. Aroma of sweet caramel, and orange. Not noticeable by the nose, but there is a nice bitter pine in the flavor that rides to the end over citrus and caramel. Pretty decent IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught at I Love Burgers in Vegas. The beer pours a slightly hazed orange color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is floral hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grassy and floral hops, sweet malt and fruit. The finish is short and leaves a slight metal and alcohol aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2011 Bomber poured into Guinness glass. Big, foamy, 2" head. Orange beer. Very fruity aroma, but not the expected grapefruit dominance. Slightly syrupy (slippery?) mouthfeel--kind of like the carbonation escaped too quickly. Finish a bit harsh; very alcoholic. Overall, just not enough hop flavor/aroma for the alcohol punch this is packing. I want more buck for my bang. Not that it makes a difference to the beer itself, but two typos in the label description...really?

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Big and fluffy head. Doughy malts with notes of sweet cocoa powder and a little caramel. Hops are decent, with subtle nips of flowers and grass, but they lack depth, aroma and bitterness. Overall, itís an OK beer, but itís just a little too malt forward, and it has a hop level thatís more on par with a pale ale.
