COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed using 2-Row, wheat, Vienna and caramel malts and is hopped with Summit’s for bittering and flavor and Ahtanum for aroma. This IPA was also dry-hopped, meaning hops were put in the fermentors and serving tanks to give a big citrus and spicy aroma, with Ahtanum, Challenger and Chinook hops. Our IPA is an American style IPA that has a high amount of bitterness but is well balanced and very drinkable.

Sampled on tap at St. Augustine’s, pours a cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus hops, resin, orange peel and caramel malt to back. Flavour of tropical fruits, bitter citrus hops, some spiciness, and a solid malt backbone. Well-rounded, refreshing and flavourful. Very good.

22oz bottle, purchased for $6 from the Athens, OH Kroger. ABV was listed as 7.2%. Half hazy golden yellow color, thin white head, leaving respectable lace. Light and crisp carbonation, but kind of oily. Hops are a bit on the malty sweet side. No date on this bottle that I can find. This doesn’t taste very fresh. It lacks that nice, fresh hop herbal taste, but it’s not bad. Beyond the malty sweetness, there’s a light bitterness. I’m sure this is way better on tap. On the actual label, "dry-hopped" is spelled as "dry-hoped", "floral bouquet" is spelled as "floral boquet"

Bottle (bomber) at the Beerhive. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A very nice fruity and pine nose, the citrus hops are strong. A nice flavor as well; robust hops, bitterness throughout, pine, a light toasted malt background. Very nice, between a IIPA and IPA.

Sampler flight on tap at the brewery (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a nice decent hazed amber gold hue, touches of frothy whitish head ring ok. Some orange and amber glow throughout, gentle lacing. Aromas show some nice grapefruit, florals, and grass. Gentle lemon, touch of gumball. Some mellow bready sweetness. Really nice nose even through some cigarette smoke. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, nice juicy grapefruit juice and rind. Some lemon, florals, firm bitterness hits the palate. Bigger citrus element, some bread, gentle resiny hops. Touches of orange, bitter florals. A touch resiny. Middle is firmly hoppy and dry, some good bitterness, florals, and dry hoppy elements. Backend keeps on with dry and bitter qualities, some florals, gentle pine, still a grapefruit forward hop profile. Quite lovely. Really nice.

"better than either their pale ale or double ipa (which isnt usually the case for me). aromatic hops make their presence known, though there may still have been a touch of age on this. fairly well balanced, spicy and floral."

Bottle to snifter (thanks, Tom). Looks fine; burnt-orange with lots of head. Smells okay; grass and onions. Tastes Better than it smells; not great, but good balance. Mouthfeel is good. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a golden orange color with a medium sized off white head. The nose is floral, citrus and mild pine with some lightly sweet pale maltiness in the background. The flavor has a moderate caramel malt base with ample amounts of grapefruit citrus, pine and spicy hops. Although this had pieces that I thought were nice, they didn’t work together for me. Maybe this would be better at the brewery.

Golden pour with creamy white head and lace. Full citrus aroma. Full semi sweet maltiness with a nice hard bitter. Good carbonation from a medium bodied beer. The best beer so far here by far for me.
