COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed using 2-Row, wheat, Vienna and caramel malts and is hopped with Summit’s for bittering and flavor and Ahtanum for aroma. This IPA was also dry-hopped, meaning hops were put in the fermentors and serving tanks to give a big citrus and spicy aroma, with Ahtanum, Challenger and Chinook hops. Our IPA is an American style IPA that has a high amount of bitterness but is well balanced and very drinkable.

650 ml bottle from bev4less. Pours a cloudy copper-amber color with a big white head that has good retention and ample lacing. The aroma is spicy and salty with a mild pine kick. The taste is bitter hops forward with pine, grapefruit, thyme, salt, pepper, sweet caramel, toffee and marshmallows. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long and dry with lingering bitter pine. Overall: Nice IPA but the malt base is a bit muddled. .

I have a strange craving to listen to Doug and the Slugs. Odd. Doubtful purchase but the locals appear to like it. Love the label art, colour and concept. Lightly hazy light apricot colour and a small white cap with sticky blobs. Not a lot of depth in the aroma but often that is a welcome thing. Thick yet airy fruit, caramel and very faint grain, mandarin, lemon and strawberry. My nose says so it is. The taste is also good - thick with some oily goodness, early notable spice wanders around with randomness, solid taste. Caramel and grain, pepper, apricot and grapefruit. Light funk thought. Had more than enough to just drink casually - that truly is the real test of enjoyment - and I dig it, mainly the spicy challenge. Made my eyes feel furry. I’ve been tricked before by letting a brewery reel me in with a decent IPA to buy other offerings and that may just happen here.

Draft sample (dry hopped with Nelson). Hazy gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Strong aromas of guava, pink grapefruit, cut grass, and crispy pale malt. Tropical and sweet citrus hops pretty much take over in the mouth, but there are traces of grass, minerals, and aloe in there as well. Sharp but restrained bitterness. Shades of Toppling Goliath here. A very enjoyable beer.

Solid IPA with mild hop bitterness. Pours a bright gold with a hint of orange in the body. The nose is hoppy and has mild pine with tons of citrus fruits. Ligh toasted malts and a bit of sweetness up fornt then moderate bitterness and light resinous smack on the finish. Overall quite nice

A fantastic IPA. Pours a hazy orange with pillowy white marshmallow head. Nice lacing. Aromas are corn syrup and fresh pine needles. Flavors wonderfully balanced. Nice pine forward hop bitterness with a great malt backbone. Thanks kathouse for this gem.

Shiny orange pour with a small white head...caramel malty aroma with a touch of citrus...hoppy taste..gets better as it warms...tiny bit of pine, but maltier than a normal IPA...Tasty..but essentially an average IPA.

Bomber. Bright gold and a bit hazy.Nose is citrusy and a bit malty. Taste is very bitter, somewhat sweet, and citrusy. The bitterness is a bit overwhelming but it’s still drinkable. I like this one but wish it was in 12 oz bottles.

Thanks erzengel for sharing!!! Pours a clear deep gold color with a fluffy cream cap. The smell is caramel malt, fruit, citrus and some spice. The taste is spicy, malty - caramel, fruit, citrus ending crisp, dry and slightly bitter with a bit of soap on the end. The body is medium with nice , fine carbonation. The taste seems a bit off and is a bit sweet with the caramel an all.
