COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed using 2-Row, wheat, Vienna and caramel malts and is hopped with Summit’s for bittering and flavor and Ahtanum for aroma. This IPA was also dry-hopped, meaning hops were put in the fermentors and serving tanks to give a big citrus and spicy aroma, with Ahtanum, Challenger and Chinook hops. Our IPA is an American style IPA that has a high amount of bitterness but is well balanced and very drinkable.

650 ml bottle from bev4less. Pours a cloudy copper-amber color with a big white head that has good retention and ample lacing. The aroma is spicy and salty with a mild pine kick. The taste is bitter hops forward with pine, grapefruit, thyme, salt, pepper, sweet caramel, toffee and marshmallows. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes long and dry with lingering bitter pine. Overall: Nice IPA but the malt base is a bit muddled. .

"better than either their pale ale or double ipa (which isnt usually the case for me). aromatic hops make their presence known, though there may still have been a touch of age on this. fairly well balanced, spicy and floral."

Amber colored, moderate head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is pine, citrus, caramel, lightly spicy and floral. Medium bodied, moderate to low bitterness, not bad.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2014 Sampled on draft this beer poured a pale golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left incredible lacing. The aroma was grapefruit, orange and passionfruit. The flavor was grapefruit, lemon, a bit dry and had a hint of tropical fruits. Medium length finish. Medium body. Decent.

On tap at Pub 1842, MGM Grand, Las Vegas. Mango and grapefruit aroma with some orange. Taste is pineapple with tropical fruits. Quite a lot of bitterness on the finish which lasts long. Tasty, refreshing and fairly complex. I like this.

Palest IPA of the flight. Light floral aroma . Aside from the medium bitterness, not much flavor. Closed off

Thanks erzengel for sharing!!! Pours a clear deep gold color with a fluffy cream cap. The smell is caramel malt, fruit, citrus and some spice. The taste is spicy, malty - caramel, fruit, citrus ending crisp, dry and slightly bitter with a bit of soap on the end. The body is medium with nice , fine carbonation. The taste seems a bit off and is a bit sweet with the caramel an all.

Bottle. Hazy light golden. White head. Flowery nose, mostly hops. Taste is the same, flowery hops. Nice. Medium bitterness, light body, soft carbonation.

Draft sample (dry hopped with Nelson). Hazy gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Strong aromas of guava, pink grapefruit, cut grass, and crispy pale malt. Tropical and sweet citrus hops pretty much take over in the mouth, but there are traces of grass, minerals, and aloe in there as well. Sharp but restrained bitterness. Shades of Toppling Goliath here. A very enjoyable beer.

A fantastic IPA. Pours a hazy orange with pillowy white marshmallow head. Nice lacing. Aromas are corn syrup and fresh pine needles. Flavors wonderfully balanced. Nice pine forward hop bitterness with a great malt backbone. Thanks kathouse for this gem.

Drank if straight from the bottle. Nicely rounded taste, good profile, piney. Citrus-y as well, with plenty of bitterness and a long aftertaste. An enjoyable brew, if on the "heavy" side of the style.
