4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Newest version is 8.5%. A fairly light aroma for a fresh hop beer. A bit more orange color than the Hop Ride. The flavor is great. Definitely a more bitter finish, with some caramel in the middle. Good stuff.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2013 650ml bottle ,Apricot golden colour with a sand colored head of foam that lasts a while. Big resinous hop aromas that are pleasing in the nose. Big full mouthfeel that is full of piney hop flavours that sit well in the mouth and have a long lying aftertaste. A great beer from a local Las Vegas brewery. This really stands out on the shelf with the bright pink label showing a Las Vegas showgirl riding on the back of a white tiger down a flooded street.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured up on tap at Papago with an opaque (hop haze I hope) orange-ish copper body with thick gold edges and supporting an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up citrusy hop notes of malt sweetened orange peel and grapefruit with slivers of resiny pine like hop bitterness. Nice start. The taste delivers rich robust hoppy goodness in the form of both citrus hop flavor and bitterness. The hop bitterness quickly gets resiny with a pine hop like sensation. Into the finish a bit of booze can be detected. Solid brew. Yum!

on tap-pours a white head and cloudy straw gold color. Aroma is mild resin. Taste is resin hops, secondary medium malt. Soft carbonation. Nice but more of an IPA than an I2PA.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper orange with white lacing. Aroma of piney hops, resin, oils, bitter citrus, orange peel. Flavour of bitter hops, aforementioned qualities, soap and caramel. Very bitter, not very balanced. Nice.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor Store, Vancouver, 8.5% ABV
Light amber color, hazy, with medium-sized head. Aroma of hops, resiny and fruity, but not fresh. Correct body strength, smooth mouthfeel; it has a good toffee and caramel flavor, with robust bitterness; the hopping is resiny, a bit citrusy; the final is strong; once more, good but it doesn’t seem to be ultra fresh. It’s a solid beer anyway, lean, not too cloying.

On tap at brewery, pours a cloudy orangish copper with a big fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus hops, malty sweetness, some grass and resin. Taste is sweet pale malts, citrus hops, toffee and some grass on the finish. Overall this hop Bomb is delicious and is an easy drinking double ipa.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazed golden , approaching amber color with a bit of white head. Aroma is sweet citrussy floral...a hop strength that tingles the nostrils. Flavor is a nice hop intensity centered on a citrus floral character and some piney sharpness reminiscent of gin. Quite a good (D)IPA!

Growler bought back from Vegas by Josh. Rating #8. Slightly hazy yellow/orange color with a pretty nice clingy white head. Fruity citrus aroma, grapefruit maybe with a little sweet maltiness as well. Light bitterness, smooth creamy mouthfeel, pretty tasty. (1082)
