Light brown in color, this ale is quite malty. While the hop flavor is generally lower than that of the other ales.

tap: middle of the road brown ale. robust color, good cap. nothing about the flavor or aroma to make it stand out, though nothing inherently wrong either.

Draught at the Tenaya Creek, Las Vegas, NV. Clear copper colour with a small off-white head. Sweet caramel malt, nuts, woody dryness and some mild hops in the aroma. The flavour is sweet caramel malt, nuts, nougat and some dryish hops. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Part of a flight at the brewery - whiskey brown color. The aroma reminded me of Brach’s candy as it is very sweet. Malty sweet taste as well. A little like brown sugar. If I weren’t such a huge fan of the IPA I’d probably have a full glass of this one.

On tap at the brewery. Clear brown pour with a white head. Great nose with nutty/earthy bouquet. The taste follows suit. Good light toasted malt notes. Excellent mouthfeel. Very good body. This IS what a brown ale should be.....

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2016 On tap at Pour 24 up the escalator from the casino in New York, New York, Las Vegas. Showed a clear & bright, walnut tone, with thick, persistent head froth, and spots & spiraling rings of lacing. The nose was toasted, smooth malt, light grain, nutty, light caramel, with a touch of toffee & chocolate. The taste was similar notes, but more roasted, with some nice creaminess to the mouthfeel. Light+ bodied, with decent carbonation, maybe a bit watery, and washed out texture-wise, and lightly dry with a hint of sulfur on the finish. Not a bad Brown, though. Next Vegas trip, enjoyed a bomber with my meal at Prime Burger in the Venetian, self poured to a mug. Similar scenario, but the body & texture were fuller, with a somewhat pronounced, roasted & earthy bitterness, and pleasantly dry finish, with no sulfur this time. Matured into a heartier Brown, and paired extremely well with the petite filet special. +.3
