On draft at the brewery. Looks like a great pilsner. Aromas of corn, sulfur, and some graininess. The flavor is some graininess, but mostly an over powering bitterness. This easy drinking pilsner would be great in the Las Vegas great.

Draft: most micro / craft brewers struggle with the style of beer, no room for error. Food Pairing: Cheese quesadillas.

Sampler flight on tap at the brewery (Las Vegas, NV). Pours a gentle pale yellow hue, crisp straw, subtle faint haze with lively carbonation. A small frothy bright white head atop dies to a filmy layer, laces ok. Aromas show gentle bready malt, a gentle spiciness, cleaner sweet elements. Bread, straw, some grass. Gentle spiciness. Ok, a bit vague. Initial is well carbonated and a bit fuzzy up front. Bready malts meet a ton of green apple, a bit tart, some florals, gentle spice. Odd soapy feel. More green apple, a bit tart. Middle comes a bit back to life. Lighter end of the fold, well carbonated, dry and straw feel. Crisp bready malt, a bit crusty. Firmly dry. Backend and finish is a bit spicy, some straw, grass, and mellow dry elements. A bit odd at times, especially up front. A green apple and soapy harshness at times. Not my thing.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grain and a bit of popcorn with a hint of grass. Flavor has sweet grains and popcorn with a hint of green apple for the finish.

(Great American Beer Festival 2004) Fairly weak pils. More in the style of a continental lager. No malt hop to be found.

Light golden and clear with a thin head. Light and lively carbonation; light body. Fairly sweet base (cereal, grains). Hops were grassy and flowery. Mild bitterness. Really missed a saaz kick.

Leafy, green, vegetal hop nose. Hazy yellow golden coloured body with a low white head that recedes to ring. Grainy sweet malt flavour with some herbal hops and light bitterness. Light body with crisp, sharp, overly strong carbonation and somewhat watery texture. Sampled at GABF 2005.
