Pours amber with a huge frothy head, careful when pouring. Aroma of malty tropical fruits. Taste is malty tropical fruit, not a fave but ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bitter and big with a beautoful bright orange body and tons of sticky yellow head. The nose is fresh and piney with gobs of grapefruit and citrus aromas. Light toasted malts up front with citrus and caramel flavors. The finish is bitter and unrelenting

Bottle to tulip Orange, grapefruit, mango, and cherry...lots of fruit. Clear amber with a thin creamy off white head. Taste is grapefruit, some caramel, pine and spruce. The alcohol is masked well.

Drankin timez! Slammed into my crystal chalice - normally itís filled with Hennessy but it was all poured down some hoís booty last night. Iím ass out but found enough copper in the lot to git my head fixed. Gonna have ta slag dis mess. Biscuit, grapefruit, white pepper, citrus, steak spice - this stank is seriously lackin to git my hair up in a mess. Hard to hit up but heatin this up brings goodness forward. Holeeeeeeeee fucks!!!! 2nd half kick off return 29-0 sodomizing!! Boo yah!! Flava is just ok but it is different. Citrus, gf, white pepper, hard sharp tang, not sure what the malt bit is here but itís there. Itís hard and lacking. Background sweetness but just barely. I ainít up in this mug with yíall. Itís a bit different but overall lame and Iím disappointed big time. Dis bizzle is a fizzle in my shnizzle. His beer is jobber. Eat my balls.

first bit of bad news was that I opened the bomber bottle, which had been sitting quietly in the fridge for weeks, and it overflowed. Las time that happened, it was a skunked bottle of Dogfish Head My Antonia... Not a good precedent. The brew is cloudy (obviously unfiltered) and has a very subtly citrus aroma. The flavor is not subtle... It reminds me of Leinkugelís Big Eddy, which I find displays over-ripe fruit character. This is not as over-ripe as Big Eddy, but itís similar. Donít think I will go out of my way to try this again...

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2014 High amounts of citrus and grapefruit, but maybe a little too much for my liking. Still great nose and finish, the high alcohol content isnt in your face.

A great dipa. Strong tropical citrus aroma. Flavour is great with citrus hop bite that dominates. Enjoying this one.

650ml brown bottle. Golden and lightly hazy in the glass. A large white head and good lacing. Nose has mild grapefruit/citrus, a bit fruity. Flavours of grapefruit, mild fruits, background malt. Grapefruit finish, good lingering bitterness and dryness. A bit mild, clean, an easy drinking double IPA, but enjoyable. Would not have a problem having this again.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Hazy orange-gold, thick white head. Tropical fruit and pine, pithy dry bitterness. To be honest, we were pretty far into the session when this came out, so I canít be overly critical or finely objective. It met no opposition and was generally well received.

650ml bottle pours a slightly cloudy golden orange color with a finger of white head that retains well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is of tropical fruits with hints of caramel and pine. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a bold grapefruit and pine hop bitterness. Medium bodied with good carbonation which provides pleasant sensations on the tongue. A very nicely done DIPA which deserves to be sampled.
