2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Golden with a rather small head. The aroma has notes of malt and some fruity hops - but not much. The flavour is smooth with a light sweetness, notes of malt and hints of fruity hops. Harmless and uncomplicated - and that’s about it!

I hated this beer nefore I even tasted it, it screams of winos and bums sitting in doorways, greedily supping from the lip of a can. Poured flatish, smelled of nothing in particular, awful taste, awful beer. Never again

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Cleethorpes.Label reads Tennent’s 1885. Gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Barely discernable malt in the nose, low grain in the mouth with a touch of hop bitterness. Finish is quite dry with a chalky bitter note lingering.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
I agree with Ol_Juntan: definately not much original taste to this lager, heck almost tastes like an ale. Flavorwise it’s bland with a hint of citrus, stronger on the hops and malt though. Palette is very thin, and somewhat diluted. I wouldn’t drink it again, I don’t think.
