0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Tasteless, fizzy, yellow "lager." Has a quickly disappearing head, if served cold enough you forget how horrible it tastes.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: MAR 1, 2014 Sampled on draft at Pipers this beer poured a dark amber color with a large creamy-fluffy white head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was faintly tangy and sour with hints of citrus and bread. The flavor was tangy and sour with some citrus, a bit of bread and a touch of perfume. Short finish. Medium body. Meh.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Keg at The Ball Room. Clear yellow-golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of pale malt and faint notes of metal and corn. Flavour is exactly the same as the aroma - it’s not inoffensive, but there’s just nothing to it. Thin body with a watery texture. Overall, this is just a standard macro-brewed Lager. The only real plus is that it’s Scottish, which is why (most of the time) I’d choose it over the equally bland usual suspects such as Stella Artois, Fosters and Peroni.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draft to taster. Looks decent; a transparent gold with foamy white head. Smells skunky with notes of lager yeast. Tastes like it smells with what seems to be a hint of corn as well. Average on the palate. Tastes like a domestic adjunct macro lager.

Rather light sweet tasting with some hay and grass. Nothing terribly complex but thats not what I want from such simple lager.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Aroma: Hay, light grassiness, a touch of pear. Appearance: Gold body with a white head that dissipated into a thin film. Flavor: Loses some of the decent pear character and exchanges it for more hay; not as grassy as the nose would suggest. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Maybe a few small differences between this and the big boys, but not enough to set it apart. Went fine with my smoked salmon pate, however.
