(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this was an average pilsener.

Clear golden with medium white short lasting head. Grainy and malty aroma. Sweet flavor with caramel malt malt and grains. Ends sweet.

A great casual beer. Not super filling with a great taste. Very smooth with a bold bite at the finish..

12 oz. bottle from Sam’s Wine (South Loop). My dad’s favorite draft when he travels to Scotland. Poured a golden lager color, with a touch of hazy straw with a small white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aromas are lager yeast and a light touch of sweetness with no adjunctiness present. Initial is a crisp lager with a bit of malt sweetness. Backend is a little more bitter and tastes a little more boozy on the finish than expected (Esp. only at 4.4%). Ok, a decent lager.

Clear golden amber, nice lasting head, notes of matl, caramel and grass, sweet flavour and lack of finish.

Can, 500ml. Pours light golden, with quickly disappearing head. Faint hop nose, and pallid on the palate. Not memorable.
