Served on tap in a pint glass. Arrived a clear medium bold with a smallish white head but with excellent lacing. Aroma of straw, hay, and some bread. Pretty typical of a Euro pale lager. The flavor is much like the aroma with bread and grassy noble hops. Bitterness is higher than many Euro lagers or AAL’s but it tends to get a little harsh and doesn’t meld well with the other flavors. Mouthfeel is light, crisp, and refreshing. Overall, a good thirst quencher but that’s about it. Decent flavor but nothing really special.

Looks like "beer". Tastes like "beer". It’s a typical working man’s brew. Slightly maltier than north american macro but just as boring.

500 ml can. Straw yellow color without much of a head to speak of. Light grain and dough aroma. Flavor is doughy malt with a bit of sweetness and earthy grains. Little carbonation and light to medium bodied on the palate. It’s a pretty non-descript beer overall but certainly not offensive. Can’t remember what I paid for a pack of these but it might be a good everyday beer.

Test vom 4.10.2006, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 12,10,12,9,-,9 - 9,94

Lightly bready and floral aromas. Darker yellow color, initially very heady but stills out pretty quick. Sweet corn flavor, some metallic elements, stewed malty flavor. Reminds me of the Dutch lager Oranjeboom I tried: relative discount lager that feels malt heavy and industrial rather than the hop stressing light Euro-lagers. This one is a bit more crisp, with bite based on booze more than hops. A better than average bottom dweller.

From bottle - actually like it - more of a rounder mouthfeel than Tennents Lager and perfectly chuggable

Canette 500ml.

500ml Can, 5% alc. noted on can, this lager had a very clear yellow-gold pour and made a two to three finger white head that receded to a partial cover and sticky ring, the glass had a medium or more center stream with a couple of bubbles here and there, this beer left sticky spots and fingers of lacing that dried on to the glass, it had light aromas of corn, malt and light bread, a touch of wild grass hops?, faint malt/bread sweetness, there were flavors of light malt and corn with a touch of malt and corn sweetness, a little sulfer or minerals or similar?, there was little to no hop bitterness after the finish, I think the alcohol gave a little bitterness and bite to the finish, the mouth feel was thin with more than average carbonation, an ok lager, nothing off or bad in this brew.

Not sure the smell how to discribe but I reconize it and not just typical beer(lager smell)5% can here. 2 finger head, golden lager look with fast carbination. Taste is water, bread and barley and it’s heavy. Be a great beer for a super hot summer day vs this cold rainny summer day but it’s average overall. Not great but not a bad lager. Cheer’s!!!

Most of a 500ml can. ABV listed as 5%. Clear yellow color, thin white head. Bit of lace. Smooth carbonation, dry texture. Basic (but clean and inoffensive) lager taste - white bread, basically. Not much taste, just a moderate sweetness, and light savory and salt. A pretty solid lager, made like a lager should be. Drinkable and refreshing, good for a 100F day. I wouldn’t mind revisiting this, and it’s drinkable enough to justify a whole 0.5L
