Poured up into the Tennentís glass I found in Value Village five years ago, and has been waiting for this chance ever since. Aroma is an unpleasant corn smell, almost apple juice-like. Beer is super fizzy, with a big white head that looks exactly like soap bubbles. Taste is not good, but Iím going to go eat pretzels, so maybe it wonít matter.

This one brings memories. Back in a day, in Scotland...A yong man in Edinburgh desperately wanting to try íreal british beerí (The ALE!), and finding this instead. Pours generic eurolager yellow, with a generic prominent head. Aroma: Wheat, corn, and whatever chemical nonsense they add to almost every eurolager (normalized hop extract?) that gives me nasty headaches. Taste: Wheat, fizzy water, and some taste enhancer which is probably supposed to play the part of hops. Bad just, bad. Even worse than many Russian made lagers, which is an achievement of sorts.

Carbonation lighter than usual. Thereís a metallic tang (possibly from the can?) that I actually kind of like. Ditto the alcohol taste. Itís on the bland side but thereís a carefree quality to it.

500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear golden yellow with average-sized white head. Aroma is mellow grains, light grass and hints of corn. Flavour is light bready grains, gentle grassiness and definite corn presence. Light-medium body. Classic LCBO option - totally forgettable Euro lager.

Poured a clear golden colour with an over-whelming four-finger thick white foamy head that diminished fast to nothing. Laced poorly. Initially highly carbonated with lots of bubble trails but this faded quickly to only a few trails. Aroma of earthy malt and a bit of sweetness. Taste mild sweet malt and bland overall. Light body bordering on watery. Crisp finish. Overall bland.

Light Yellow, Good Head, Some Lacing. Sweet Aroma. Bubbly and Sweet are the characteristics that separate it from the rest of lagers. Average Body and Refreshing. Pretty Decent.

500ml can. 5% abv on the label. Clear gold pour. White head with surprisingly nice clingy foam. Nose has grains and straw. Taste has some sweetness at the start, grain and bread notes and some light grass at the end. Light body, well carbonated. Overall, not a bad macro pale lager, drinkable and refreshing with no real off flavours.

Pours a medium yellow with a white head that quickly dissipates. Nose is faint cereal. Palate is medium body with amaltiness and a dry finish with light bitterness.
