2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
500 ml can. Straw yellow color without much of a head to speak of. Light grain and dough aroma. Flavor is doughy malt with a bit of sweetness and earthy grains. Little carbonation and light to medium bodied on the palate. Itís a pretty non-descript beer overall but certainly not offensive. Canít remember what I paid for a pack of these but it might be a good everyday beer.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Quality pale lager with a nice balance between malt and hops, good body and clean, refreshing finish. One of the better brews of its kind.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours yellow with a white head. Taste corn, lightly sweet, grains. I thought this was bad. I wouldn't drink this again.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not bad for volume beer, slight sweet aroma. Flavor had that slight burnt butterscotch note, finish is a tad short.

I was surprised that Tennents was available locally and in a 500 ml can. Floral aroma, golden body, bubbly head, with a creamy butter flavor with light bitterness. Flavors were as expected, a working manís beer at import prices.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
500 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear golden yellow with average-sized white head. Aroma is mellow grains, light grass and hints of corn. Flavour is light bready grains, gentle grassiness and definite corn presence. Light-medium body. Classic LCBO option - totally forgettable Euro lager.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
500mL can, bottom marked 30 SEP 14, mine at 5% abv. Nose sweet and vibrantly corny, pours rich clear golden with a sudsy off-white head. Watery taste semi-dry at first (but has something of a sweet residual) with corn and oily, tumbling malt; touch of dust and spice, citric and noble hops on the edges, mostly clean and manages to strike a nice middle. Alcohol well-integrated but what is detectable is a bit harsh. Still, I like it well enough for its aspirations.
