wacohoover (100), Garland, Texas, USA Mar 27, 2008 Overall, pleasant beer while sitting in pub. I was drinking this because the pub was serving this, and I had yet to try it. Wasn’t the best beer by far, but it still had a good ale flavor, kind of malty, and very smooth. I think this deserves a higher rating than most give it. BEERGUY007 (168), Scotia, New York, USA Jan 26, 2008 Draught at Mahar’s. Nice color, medium brown, light body I thought, smooth, almost too smooth though. It could have been lagered longer I thought. Nice head and some Brussels lace. Nice beer I thought. Slayer85 (440), Firenze, Italy Nov 20, 2007 Draught. a clear copper beer with a white head. Alcoholic aroma and flavour with very light bitterness. Not really a Scotch ale, this beer tastes more like a rotten lager. I’ll not try this again. MullMan (1015), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA Nov 12, 2006 on tap at a bar in Trastevere, Rome, but I can’t remember the name of the place. light copper color, clear. light tan dimply head, aroma of grassy malt and a little earthy. flavor is grassy malt, a little caramel malt. high carbonation. earthy bitter finish. the folks at the table next to us were from the UK and when the waitress asked for their drink order, they said, "anything but tennents!"
