Aroma of caramel, sweet dark chocolate and roasted malts, which very much noticeable in the flavour too, along with some coffee and a roasty dry bitter chocolate finish. SHIG (1382), Oberoffligen, Germany Dec 1, 2006 Poured a thick dark black/brown color with a creamy light brown head. Very sweet caramel aroma. Sweet caramel or molasses like flavor that finished a bit dry. mansquito (576), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Nov 2, 2006 Bottled in Belize (why this beer is in Belize, I will never know). Really thick and sweet beer. Tasted like straight up chocolate. Almost hard to drink for myself. It definately had a complex palate that was superior to many other beers, but the flavour didn’t really do it for me. The tastes were overpowering and left the taste in my mouth for a little too long.
