Bottle. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Sweet aroma of malts and caramel. Flavour of malts and caramel with notes of alcohol.

Can... Clear, deep gold lager with a large, frothy/whispy, off-white head. Terrific retention. Smells like a pub. Tastes like a vodka boilermaker... strong and alcoholic. Full-bodied and oily with medium carbonation. Finishes bitter, alcoholic and downright harsh. Thanks go out to my friend Dai for bringing the can back from her trip to Europe.

Wow, a cheap night out guaranteed, all you need are a couple of these. Tasted from the pint sized can and poured into a stein glass. Clear, yet oily looking, medium gold body with a thick and dense pad of foam for a crown, that lasted and left webs of lace down the glass (hard to fault on looks). Boiled shrimp broth and ’fairy floss’ candi nose, extra sweet with an underpinning note of hot ethanol. Sweet and husky in the mouth, the ethanol takes hold quickly and it became a portal to my larrikin years of swigging vodka with a beer chaser, this was hot!!! Sweet congealed sugar flavours slowed the onset of warming alcohol and made for a deadly mix for the unwary. It was honestly an easy drinker, the malt seems to have been replaced by dextrose and I fear a hangover for the morning as it did go down with ease. Light bodied and spritzy in carbonation, it did become unbearable as it warmed and proved to be nothing more than a poser beer for the headstrong. Not my cup of beer!!! (50cL can, BBE 04/06, Int’l Beer Shop, W. Leederville)

Bottled. Deep golden coloured, with a huge dissapering head. It has a very strong malty, alcoholic aroma and a very sweet caramel alcoholic taste, with a slightly bitter-sweet-alcoholic finish. Should be served very cold.

Can, bought at a little convenience store in East London that seemed to only stock "super" beer. I wasn’t expecting much and I didn’t get much. Pours a gold colour with a medium but rapidly diminishing bubbly head. Aroma of alcohol and perfumed malt. Metal and sweet malt-like taste. Just what I expected.

Theres a reason i walk through glasgow and see even junky scumbag with a can of this, cause its just alcoholic water that is ment only for the scum of the earth. The fact it comes in cans is a good thing though, as it means they can chase u down the street with a bottle.

50 cl can, poured into a glass, bbe Aug 05. Light amber/orange, good foamy head, hazy, strong pearling. A rather weak flowery and perfumy odour, reminiscent of a detersive. Malty and fruity (apricots), round in the mouth, tickles the palate.
